Top 7 Indian Street Foods You Can Enjoy in Our Restaurant (UK Edition)

So here is the thing…

Indian street food? It hits different.

It is not just food. It is a vibe. It is that spicy kick when you are running late for tuition. That sweet-sour tamarind chaat your mum warned you about. That hot oil smell from a corner stall on a winter evening that just pulls you in. But you are not in India right now. You are here, in the UK. Missing that buzz.

We feel you.

At Indian Panorama, we have tried to bring all of that... the flavour, the heart, the chaos into one place. It is street food, but you get to sit down, chill, and not worry about juggling your plate with a plastic spoon and a flying pigeon.

Let’s talk food. No fancy intros. Just pure desi cravings.

1. Chole Samosa Chaat

Ever eaten something and just gone: “Why is this so good??”

That’s this.

We take a samosa, smash it a little, throw in spicy chole, some yoghurt, tangy imli chutney, onions, sev — the whole gang. Sweet, spicy, crunchy, soft… it is like a Bollywood song in your mouth.

Honestly, it is kind of messy. But you won’t care.

2. Crispy Fish

Not your usual fried fish, promise.

We marinate this baby in masalas first. Then it goes into hot oil till it is golden and crispy on the outside but soft and flaky inside. Add lemon. Maybe some chutney. Sit back.

It is giving beach-vibes-meets-Punjabi-masala. No complaints.

3. Aloo Tikki

You have had hash browns? Cool. Now forget them.

Aloo Tikki is the real deal. Spiced mashed potato patties, pan-fried till the outside is golden and slightly crunchy. That smell? Unreal. That first bite? Even better.

You can have it plain. Or let us load it up with chutneys and chickpeas and make it a chaat situation. Your call.

4. Onion Bhaji

Light, crispy, golden. And totally addictive.

Sliced onions + gram flour + masala + hot oil = bhaji heaven. They are crunchy but still soft inside. Kinda like tempura, but louder. Desi-er. Better.

Ideal with chai. Even better with gossip.

5. Chicken Tikka

Yes, we know. Everyone’s had chicken tikka.

But not like this.

Ours is grilled, not baked. Slightly charred edges, soft inside. The spices hit you first, then that smoky flavour creeps in.

You will end up licking the chutney off your fingers. We have seen it happen.

6. Tawa Sheekh Kebab

This one’s got attitude.

Minced meat, garlic, onions, dhaniya, all mashed together, shaped on skewers, then cooked on a tawa (not some boring oven). It sizzles. Smells insane. Tastes even better.

No frills. Just solid kebab energy.

7. Patthar Ke Kebab

This one’s a flex.

We literally cook it on a stone. Yup. Meat goes straight on a hot slab of stone, sears in its own juices, and comes out soft, smoky, and loaded with masala.

Not common. Not boring. And definitely not something you'll forget.

Here’s the truth.

We did not set out to make some “fancy reinterpretation” of street food.

We just missed home.

The late-night bites. The five-minute snacks that turned into full meals. The stuff that fills you up but also weirdly comforts you. You know?

So we brought it here. To Surrey. To Indian Panorama.

Our chefs? They are not just cooks. They are street food lovers first. They have grown up with these flavours... and they respect the chaos that comes with them.

So come and enjoy crunchy, spicy, fried, juicy Indian street food, served with heart.

And maybe a little extra chutney if you ask nicely.

Need a takeaway? We have got you.

Want to chill in and eat slow? Even better.

Whatever the mood, we have got flavour waiting for you.
